Remember when?

February 12, 2008

Les Milburn of Hagerstown submitted this photo he took of a drawing he found in a house he bought at an estate auction around 1992. While he was preparing to do some remodeling and cleaning of the attic, he found this framed picture of Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson. Milburn said he thought it would be interesting for readers to see the photo while the country is in the midst of what could be one of the most historic elections ever. He said what was interesting about this old house was the fact that the lady who lived there was actually born there and lived there until she passed away at the age of 95. Her father had built the house, her relatives told Milburn.
