First-graders celebrate 100th day of school year

FUNKSTOWN - Recently, the first grade at Funkstown School for Early Childhood Education celebrated the 100th day of the 2007-08 school year.

Isiah Arrington and Noah Lightner, shown here left to right, built a replica of the school out of 100 marshmallows and toothpicks.

And the students in Cindy Line's class, right photo, glued 100 buttons onto a shirt. The shirts say "cute as a button."
