Give a gift from the heart - make it yourself!

This year, make your own Valentine gifts - like these:

Takeout Valentine

Give your valentine this creative gift using a Chinese take-out box and candy. It's adorable! You will need:

· Chinese take-out box

· Colored pencil

· Valentine card

· Candy

· Construction paper

Examine your take-out box. If there's food in it, clean it out and cover the outside with construction paper or color it. Use pink and red for a Valentine's Day feel. Fill the box with some candy and stick a colored pencil in the middle straight up. Tape your Valentine's Day card to it and give it to your deary.

Box of Hugs and Kisses

Instead of buying an expensive box of chocolates for your valentine, make your own! It will make their heart all warm and fuzzy inside when they see that you spent time on making them their gift all by yourself.

You will need:

· Bag of Hershey Kisses or Hugs

· Different types of ribbon

· Tape

· Construction paper

· Small box with lid

First, cover the parts of your box that have unwanted writing. For example, if you have a box that says "Super Shoes" on it, then cover it with some construction paper.

Then embellish the lid by adding ribbon everywhere. Make a criss-cross with some red ribbon or whatever ribbons you have, and then add a bow.

Finally, place some Hershey Kisses or Hugs inside the box.

For an additional add-on, give a personalized card to him/her along with the chocolate.
