Corrections

February 05, 2008

· Due to an editor's error, a correction that ran on page A2 of Saturday's edition of The Herald-Mail contained incorrect information about Russell F. Williams' status with the Washington County Board of Education. Williams served on the school board from 2002-06, but lost in the primary election in 2006. He is again running for a seat on the school board.

· Due to an editor's error, the headline on the "A Life Remembered" column that ran on page A4 of Sunday's edition of The Herald-Mail gave an incorrect first name for the deceased. The Life Remembered headline should have read, "Bill Ridenour was an innovative educator." The corrected column can be found in its entirety on page A6 of today's edition of The Herald-Mail.

· Due to an editor's error, a story about a proposed FedEx warehouse that ran on page B1 of Sunday's edition of The Herald-Mail incorrectly characterized a FedEx spokesman's response to a reporter's calls. FedEx could not be reached for comment.
