Hagerstown Community College, in collaboration with Brook Lane Health Services, is offering a three-hour seminar titled "Assessment and Management of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder." It will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in the Kepler Theater at HCC.
The seminar will examine the causes of PTSD, signs and symptoms, diagnosis criteria, and cognitive and behavioral interventions to help manage symptoms. Continuing education credits will be provided for social workers, psychologists, counselors/therapists and nurses.
