Katie Warehime had 13 points and seven rebounds and Carrie Saunders added 12 points for the Rams (14-5, 11-2).

Fowkes earns all-academic honors

CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Western Carolina sophomore forward Shannon Fowkes, a graduate of Smithsburg High School, recently was named to the Southern Conference Fall All-Academic Team.

Fowkes, an accounting major, has a GPA of 3.85 -- ranking second amongst the conference's 14 all-academic women's soccer players.
