The Conrads



Berkley and Bettie Lou Conrad celebrated 60 years of marriage Aug. 15, 2007, at Gladchuck's Restaurant in Frederick, Md.

The Conrads were married Aug. 15, 1947. They have four children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two of their children live out of state and the other two live in Maryland.

They live in Hagerstown.




The Frenches



Harold and Viva French of Hagerstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, with a surprise dinner at Valley Assembly of God. Their three daughters and their spouses, Dena French of Hagerstown; Lisa and Danny Cunningham of Sharpsburg; and Carrie and Dwayne Flook of Fairplay; and their son, Harold French Jr. and girlfriend Leslie Miller hosted the dinner.

They enjoyed food and the company of more than 50 family and friends. Pastor Robert Jones shared a blessing with the couple, and their children honored him with a tribute. The Frenches were married Nov. 16, 1957. Harold French served in the Navy, and was a barber for more than 40 years before retiring. Mrs. French worked for Weis Markets before retiring and has returned there part-time.

The Singhases



Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Singhas Jr. of Williamsport were honored by their children, Kristin and Kenneth Singhas III, with a celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary, Saturday, June 23, 2007. The event was held in the fellowship hall of New Life Christian Ministries in Clear Spring.

Family and friends enjoyed cake and refreshments. The couple also celebrated their anniversary with a cruise to the Western Caribbean as a gift to one another.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Singhas were married on June 26, 1982, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Chewsville by the Rev. John Schildt.

Mrs. Singhas is the former Pamela Burgan of Sharpsburg.
