February 02, 2008

Hagerstown residents living in certain areas of the city's North End are being encouraged to draw enough water to meet their needs from Monday at 11 p.m. Monday until Tuesday at 7 a.m. while workers make improvements to the water system, according to a press release from the city's Water Department.

The following areas will be affected:

· Orchard Hills

· Woodland Heights

· A small section of Maugans Avenue in front of Orchard Hills and Petmar Circle

· 13500-14000 Pennsylvania Ave.

· Northaven Mobile Home Park

The work will be completed, weather permitting, during periods of low demand to reduce the inconvenience on customers, according to the release.
