Grace United Methodist Church, Winter and Church streets, following a simple supper at 6 p.m., the Ash Wednesday service will follow at 7.

Grace UMC will be participating in the West End Community Lenten dinners each Wednesday at 6 p.m. during Lent, followed by a Lenten service at 7. These services will rotate through the West End United Methodist churches as hosts with different preachers each week.

Oasis of Love Church, 303 S. Washington St., Shippensburg, Pa., Everlasting Love will be the theme of the New Wine Cellar Coffeehouse tonight at 7:30.

Across the street from the church, the coffeehouse includes skits, interpretive dance, singing and contemporary Christian music in a caf setting.


Everyone, ages 13 and older, is invited to attend.

St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 700 New York Ave., Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Charles Henry will speak on the topic, It's Time to Pray, Amen, at the Ash Wednesday services at 7 p.m.

Camp Tohiglo, 10670 Fort Loudon Road, Mercersburg, Pa., Renald Showers and Steve Herzig will speak at the Men's Retreat on Feb. 4 and 5.

The theme of the retreat, sponsored by the Fellowship of Bible Churches, is Israel's Place in Bible Prophecy.

St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Beaver Creek Church Road, will host an Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. for the community and the Beaver Creek-Keedysville Parish.

Worship will include the imposition of ashes and communion.
