Two charged with hindering Hagerstown robbery investigation

On Wednesday evening, Hagerstown police were in the 600 block of West Washington Street conducting interviews related to a robbery investigation.

During the interviews, one a woman interfered with an officer conducting the interview, Hagerstown police said in a news release. Other people also interfered with the interview, at which point officers tried to arrest those causing problems.

People resisted arrest and officers used pepper spray and a taser to control the crowd, police said.

One of the people was taken to Washington County Hospital, where he was treated and later released into police custody, officers said.

Tracy Cook was charged with obstructing and hindering, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Cordaryl Dominic Cook was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. An unidentified girl was charged with obstructing and hindering and resisting arrest.
