Shepherd 84, Bluefield St. 56

SHPHERDSTOWN W.Va. - Freshman Liki Turner turned in a double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds to lead Shepherd past Bluefield State in a West Virginia Conference contest.

Turner hit 8 of 11 from the field and his 17 rebounds were a career high. Justin Jarman added 15 points. Hedgesville grad Duncan Williams and Chambersburg grad Jonathan Motichka each hit a pair of 3-pointers for the Rams (10-6, 4-5).




WOMEN'S BASKETBALL



Shepherd 69, Bluefield St. 31

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Krissy Grosselin led a balanced scoring attack for Shepherd as the Rams rolled easily past Bluefield State in West Virginia Conference play.

Grosselin had 13 points, including two 3-pointers. Boonsboro graduate Jerica Hewett scored three points in 17 minutes off the bench for the Rams (10-5, 7-2)

Shepherd's Laura Harkins added seven points and moved into 11th place on the all-time scoring list with 1,038 points.
