WASHINGTON - St. Francis used pressure to force St. Maria Goretti into 16 turnovers in the middle two periods to pull away for a 65-39 Baltimore Catholic League victory Sunday.

Goretti (10-12, 3-8) was able to slow the game down early, playing to a 14-14 tie early into the second quarter. But St. Francis turned up the pressure to get the majority of the Gaels' 25 turnovers in the middle 16 minutes.

Sean Mosley scored 16 of his 20 points in the second and third quarters, while Jose Oquendo added 11 of his 13 for St. Francis.

Kevin Breslin had 13 points and John Duhring added 10 for Goretti, which had 25 turnovers and only 35 shots.
