WASHINGTON - Mike Russ scored 26 points, including the 1,000th of his career, to lead St. James to a 77-67 victory over Georgetown Day School in a Mid Atlantic Conference game on Friday.

Ben Farquhar had 15 points, 10 rebounds and four steals, Jordan Barr had 12 points, Spencer Draper had 10 points, eight rebounds and four steals and T.K. Washington had 15 rebounds and five assists for the Saints (10-6, 4-4).

Georgetown Day falls to 4-7, 2-4.

No. 5 Musselman 80, Faith Christian 37

INWOOD, W.Va. - J.D. Daniels scored 18 points to lead Musselman over Faith Christian.

Diego Pons had 12 points and Logan Holloman had 10 points for the Applemen (11-2).

H.B. Dunham had 20 points for the Flames (5-9).

Cardinal Gibbons 58, Goretti 45

BALTIMORE, Md. - Marlon Brisco scored 18 points as Cardinal Gibbons (14-8, 6-4) beat St. Maria Goretti in the Baltimore Catholic League.


Kevin Breslin had 13 points and eight rebounds, Mitch Belella had 13 points and Matisse Gaillard had six assists for the Gaels (10-11, 3-7).

Liberty 66, Smithsburg 53

ELDERSBURG, Md. - Josh Edwards had 17 points and three steals to lead Smithsburg in a non-conference loss to Liberty (8-4).

Steve Whitt added 15 points, Terry Sword had six rebounds and Josh Conway had three assists for the Leopards (3-11).

Broadfording 69, Hancock 51

HANCOCK - Armondo Miller had a game-high 24 points to help Broadfording Christian cruise past Hancock.

Devin Gourdine and Andrew Park each had 13 points and Steven Economos added nine for the Lions (12-7).

Josh Unger had 14 points to lead the Panthers (6-8).

Southern Fulton 57, Fannett-Metal 44

WARFORDSBURG, Md. - Lucas Mellott had 12 points and seven rebounds to lead Southern Fulton over Fannett-Metal (12-7, 7-5) in a Sideling Hill League victory.

Jake McCarthy had 12 points and four assists and Jesse Smartt had 10 points, five assists and five rebounds for the Indians (13-7, 10-3).

Bishop Walsh 85, Berkeley Springs 57

CUMBERLAND, Md. - Myles Clifford scored a game-high 26 points to lead Bishop Walsh over Berkeley Springs.

Alex Trivanovic had 22 points, Kamron Khatian scored 16 and Dylan D'Atri added 11.

Joseph Wright led Berkeley Springs (3-11) with 20 points and Michael Twigg had 16 points, including four 3-pointers.

Boiling Springs 66, Waynesboro 55

BOILING SPRINGS, Pa. - Edwin Willis had 15 points as Boiling Springs (9-11) beat Waynesboro.

Terrell Rickard had 30 points, eight rebounds and three assists, Kegan Crider had six points and three assists, while Jamison Walck grabbed six rebounds for the Indians (9-11).


No. 5 Musselman 66, Hampshire 34

ROMNEY, W.Va. - Nikki Stephenson had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead Musselman over Hampshire.

Lacey Williams scored 16 points and Morgan Harms added 15 for the Applemen (13-4), who had 19 assists in the game.

Lesley Swisher led Hampshire (6-10) with 11 points.

No. 6 Boonsboro 50, South 13

Brynn Arnone had 11 points and Courtney Silvis and Emma Dalton each added 10 to lead Boonsboro (9-4) past winless South Hagerstown.

Kayla Freeman led South (0-13) with five points.

Liberty 44, Smithsburg 30

SMITHSBURG - Cheyano Skidmore and Maggie McCormick both scored 10 points as Liberty (5-9) beat Smithsburg.

Gretchen Downey had 10 points, six rebounds and four steals, Allie Nickels had six rebounds and Ashley Ferguson had five assists for the Leopards (5-10).

Hancock 37, St. James 34

SAINT JAMES - Hancock dropped in 7 of 12 from the free-throw line in overtime to seal a win over St. James.

St. James (5-12) outscored Hancock 14-4 in the fourth quarter to force the extra period.

Brandy Jenkins led Hancock (7-9) with 10 points and four steals, Shawnda Wills had 10 rebounds and Chelsea Stigile had seven steals.

Caroline Salisbury led St. James (5-12) with 15 points, including three 3-pointers.


Washington Co. 4, Middletown 0

FREDERICK, Md. - Joe Blackwood scored two goals to lead the Washington County North Stars to a shutout win over Middletown.

Kevin McCormack and Jack Barr each added a goal and Eric Bowers had two assists for the North Stars.

McCormack, Paul Stravakas and Dakota Durning each had an assist for the North Stars. Goalies John Weber and Alex Benda combined for 18 saves in the shutout.


Jefferson 105, Shippensburg 63

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Josh Houck, Eli Tice, Daniel Whalen and Will Corley won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:41.58 for Jefferson (8-3).


Jefferson 94, Shippensburg 89

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Jefferson (9-2) trailed until the last event, the 400 freestyle relay, and the B-relay team of Sami Hudkins, Molly Rogers, Alexandra Hockman and Hilary Grabowski captured second place to clinch the win.
