THURMONT, Md. - North Hagerstown battled back from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to take a one-point lead with 15 seconds remaining, but Catoctin's Kyle Beard made two free throws with 3 seconds left to give Catoctin a 60-59 victory Tuesday night.

Allen Sandberg led North (3-9) with 17 points - including four 3-pointers - and three blocks. Brent Bell had 11 points and seven rebounds, Anthony Lee had eight assists, Joe Mattei had seven rebounds and Alec Nelson had four steals.

Matty Thompson led the Cougars (3-10) with 19 points and Beard finished with 14.

No. 7 Chambersburg 57, Cedar Cliff 56

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ryan Borzager's fifth 3-pointer of the game with 2 seconds left in overtime gave the Trojans the victory after they forced a Cedar Cliff turnover.

Chambersburg (9-9, 7-7 Mid-Penn Commonwealth) outscored Cedar Cliff 32-26 in the second half to erase a six-point deficit.

Borzager finished with 15 points, while Armond Perez - who also made five 3s - scored a game-high 26 points for the Trojans. Ben Eby had six assists and DeVonte Merritt had six rebounds.

South Carroll 66, Smithsburg 57

SMITHSBURG - Lane Duley scored 18 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead South Carroll over Smithsburg.

Jack McCarty and Garrett Jones each added nine points for the Cavaliers (4-10).

Josh Edwards had a game-high 23 points to lead the Leopards (3-10). Dan Rishell added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

James Buchanan 65, Big Spring 53

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Josh McCauley had 19 points and five rebounds to lead James Buchanan over Big Spring (4-17, 0-10) in the Mid-Penn Capital.

Macke Hall had 10 points and five rebounds, Kris Potter had 10 points, Sawyer Hollenshead had nine assists and Kyle Hedrick had six rebounds for the Rockets (7-12, 2-8).

McConnellsburg 63, Everett 57

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Russel Glazier scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead McConnellsburg over Everett in the Sideling Hill League.

Hunter Homistek had 14 points and seven rebounds, and Caleb Wasabaugh added 10 points for the Spartans (13-6, 7-4).

Cory Waltman scored 14 points, Bradley Swindell had 13 and Ethan Woy added 12 for Everett (7-10, 4-7).

So. Fulton 50, No. Bedford 38

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Josh Wertz scored 14 points to lead Southern Fulton over Northern Bedford in the Sideling Hill League.

Luke Mellott had 10 points and seven rebounds, Jess Smartt had 11 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Jake McCarthy had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Indians (12-7, 9-3).

Matt Snyder had 11 points for Northern Bedford (8-10, 5-7).

Broadfording 72, CVCS 59

Armondo Miller had 23 points, eight rebounds and two steals as Broadfording defeated Cumberland Valley Christian in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Devin Gourdine had 18 points, five rebounds and two steals, Andrew Park had 10 points and Anthony Borum grabbed 13 rebounds for the Lions (11-7, 7-2).

Charles McBeth scored 18 points and Scott Levy added 14 for CVCS (11-6, 6-4).

Heritage 72, Bishop Walsh 71

Steven Barthalow poured in 40 points, leading Heritage Academy over Bishop Walsh.

Hamilton Stamper had 16 points and 15 rebounds, and Cody Butts added eight points and 11 assists for the Eagles (11-2).

Camran Khataian scored 33 points and Myles Clifford had 15 points for Bishop Walsh (6-11).

Faith Christian 57, New Life 52

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - H.B. Dunham had 27 points and five assists to lead Faith Christian over New Life Christian in the MDCC.

Faith (4-8, 3-6) outscored New Life (8-7, 3-5) 18-9 in the third quarter to take the lead, led by Dunham's 12 points.

Tyler Gibson and Larry Kerns each had 10 points and Brandon Hoy had eight rebounds for the Falcons.

Tommy Kellogg led New Life with 18 points, while A.J. Anthony had 12 and Sherard Johnson added 11.

No. 1 Waynesboro 52, Greencastle 48

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Mallory Wishard had 23 points and 17 rebounds, leading Waynesboro to its 10th straight Mid-Penn Capital victory.

Jenna Lininger added 18 points, six steals and five assists for the Maidens (16-2, 10-0).

Rebecca Rider scored 16 points and Whitney Nave added 11 points and nine rebounds for Greencastle (4-16, 4-6). Taylor Kern added 10 points for the Blue Devils.

No. 3 North 56, Catoctin 21

LaRae Allen had 13 points, eight rebounds and five steals to lead North Hagerstown past Catoctin (3-9).

Kirksten Mitchell had 12 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Luna Jefferson had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Hubs (10-2).

No. 4 Hedgesville 47, Thomas Johnson 26

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Greyson Brooks scored 12 points and Brittany Boarman added 11 points as Hedgesville defeated Thomas Johnson.

The Eagles (12-2) outscored the Patriots (1-11) 25-8 in the first half.

South Carroll 58, Smithsburg 34

SYKESVILLE, Md. - Emily Hargreaves led Smithsburg (5-9) with 12 points in the Leopards' loss to the Cavaliers.
