HARRISBURG, Pa. - Garrett Sanders scored 18 points to lead No. 7 Chambersburg over Central Dauphin 59-51 Friday night in the Mid-Penn Commonwealth, snapping the Trojans' five-game losing streak.

Ben Eby had 12 points, Ryan Borzager had nine points and Armond Perez had eight points and 14 rebounds for the Trojans (8-9, 6-7).

Central Dauphin is 6-11, 2-10.

St. Maria Goretti 55, Calvert Hall 49

Kevin Breslin had 23 points, 12 rebounds and six assists to lead St. Maria Goretti over Calvert Hall in the Baltimore Catholic League.

Matisse Gaillard had 10 points for the Gaels (9-9, 3-5).

Jon Graham had 17 points for Calvert Hall (9-9, 1-3).

Clear Spring 52, Hancock 48

CLEAR SPRING - Keith Gilchrist had 11 points, five assists and five steals to help Clear Spring edge Hancock.

Kyle Crist had 11 points, Brandon Glazer and Brett Turner each added 10 points and Jordan Thurber had nine rebounds for the Blazers (8-4).


Steven Beaver and Josh Unger each scored 10 points to lead the Panthers (6-6).

Boonsboro 62, Mountain Ridge 47

BOONSBORO - Shane Lowery had 16 points and seven assists to lead Boonsboro over Mountain Ridge.

Seth Poffenberger had 12 points, five assists and four steals, while Shane Zbir had six points, eight rebounds and three blocks for the Warriors (4-10).

Brandon Wright had 12 points for Mountain Ridge.

St. James 52, St. Andrews 41

POTOMAC, Md. - T.K. Washington had a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead St. James to a Mid Atlantic Conference victory.

Ben Farquhar had 10 points and three assists and Mike Russ had nine points and 12 rebounds for the Saints (7-6, 2-4).

McConnellsburg 64, Fannett-Metal 57

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Jarrod Appleby had 16 points, four rebounds and four assists as McConnellsburg beat Fannett-Metal in the Sideling Hill League.

Russel Glazier and Hunter Homistek had 13 points and six rebounds each, while Tyler Swisher had 10 points for the Spartans (11-6, 6-4).

Dakota Bair scored 21 points and Colton Bair added 14 points for Fannett-Metal (10-6, 6-4).

Southern Fulton 56, Forbes Road 51

HARRISONVILLE, Pa. - Jake McCarthy scored 17 points as Southern Fulton beat Forbes Road in the Sideling Hill League.

Jess Smartt had 10 points and seven assists, while Jeremy Clingerman had 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists for the Indians (11-7, 8-3).

Jess Newman scored 24 points for Forbes Road (7-9, 4-7).


Tuscarora 65, No. 1 Waynesboro 51

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Mallory Wishard had 17 points and 15 rebounds for Waynesboro in a loss to Tuscarora (5-7).

Gillian Hollen had 13 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks and Jenna Lininger had 12 points, six steals and five assists for the Maidens (14-2).

No. 3 North 64, Smithsburg 36

SMITHSBURG - Kirksten Mitchell had a game-high 20 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead North Hagerstown over Smithsburg.

Alex Silva had 11 points, Kishia Jackson had nine points, eight steals and five rebounds and Lindsay Irving had nine points and six rebounds for the Hubs (9-2).

Bethany Garnand had eight points, Sara Rishell had seven points, six rebounds and three blocks and Emily Hargreaves had seven points for the Leopards (5-8).

No. 7 Boonsboro 50, Mountain Ridge 36

FROSTBURG, Md. - Katie Neiman had 12 points and four steals as Boonsboro beat Mountain Ridge.

Brynn Arnone had 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, Allison Griffith had eight points and four steals and Emma Dalton had four steals for the Warriors (8-4).

Williamsport 65, South 17

WILLIAMSPORT - Morgan Smith had 19 points, seven steals and six rebounds to lead Williamsport over South Hagerstown (0-11).

Kelly Beard had 14 points, eight rebounds and five steals, Jess Ellis had 10 points and Brittany Mallott added six rebounds for the Wildcats (7-6).

Central Dauphin 70, Chambersburg 54

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Central Dauphin toook advantage of numerous second-chance baskets in the first half to build a 23-point lead and beat Chambersburg in a Mid-Penn Commonwealth game.

Ashley Benedick had 19 points - including five 3-pointers - to lead the Trojans (5-12, 3-10).

Broadfording 54, Mountain View 34

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Katie Connolly scored 23 points to help Broadfording cruise past Mountain View.

Emily Stransky had 10 points and 19 rebounds and Charlotte Worsfold added 14 rebounds for the Lions (9-9).
