Play dough play date
SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. -Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Commission will host a play dough play date from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25. For ages 3 to 5, program No. 365. Discussion on blended family issues
FREDERICK, Md. - Using character-based principles from the Parent Power curriculum, Pat Hammett will address sibling issues, setting boundaries and other issues facing step-families. Advance registration is requested. Successful Step-Parenting will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 23 and 31, Feb. 7 and 14, at Families Plus!, 35 E. Anger management for parents, children
FREDERICK, Md. - Parent/Child Anger Management Group, a multi-week anger management group for parents and elementary school-age students, will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 24 and 31, Feb. 7 and 14, at Families Plus, 35 E. Church St. The course, led by Carmen Turner will involve an interactive overview of anger management techniques, information and problem solving skills. Registration is required.
