GIRLS BASKETBALL



MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Caroline Lovette had 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead Mercersburg Academy over No. 5 Musselman 57-49 on Tuesday.

Lauren Dobish had 19 points and four steals and Jennifer Dillon had nine points, six assists and four steals for the Blue Storm (6-5).

Lacey Williams and Nikki Stephenson each scored 18 points to lead the Applemen (8-3).

Everett 41, No. 7 Southern Fulton 29

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Brooke Whiteside had seven points and four assists, Kelly Elbin had seven points and Chelsea Hollenshead had seven rebounds for Southern Fulton (9-4, 6-3) in a Sideling Hill League loss to Everett (15-1, 9-0).

Tussey Mountain 36, McConnellsburg 18

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Krista Swope scored 17 points to lead Tussey Mountain over McConnellsburg in the Sideling Hill League.

J.J. Deshong had six points and Michelle Baker had five points and six rebounds for the Spartans (6-8, 4-6).

Broadfording 43, Grace 34

Emily Stransky had 10 points and 21 rebounds to lead Broadfording over Grace Academy in the MDCC.

Amber Grimm scored 14 points and Katie Connolly added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Lions (8-9, 5-2).

Kelsie Shaffer had 17 points and Megan Everett added 12 for the Knights (5-10, 4-5).

Heritage 52, CVCS 48

Heritage Academy outscored Cumberland Valley Christian 22-8 in the third quarter - Morgan McIntire and Caroline Clark each scored eight in the frame - to come from behind for an MDCC victory. McIntire finished with 25 points and Clark added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Bri Dorsey had nine points, 15 rebounds and eight steals for the Eagles (10-5, 7-2), while Rebekah Clarke had five steals and five rebounds.

Miranda Payne scored a game-high 29 points and Christine Walker added 10 for the Blazers (10-4, 7-1).

Shalom 42, Calvary 26

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Olivia Grove had 13 points and Sarah Marquiss added eight to lead Shalom Christian to an MDCC rout.

Alyssa Rohrer had six rebounds, Wendy Farrow had four assists and four steals and Christina Hussack had four steals for the Flames (8-6, 6-2).

Chase Crossland scored 20 points for Eagles (2-10, 1-8).

Potomac 70, St. James 51

McLEAN, Va. - Peter Prowitt scored 25 points, including four 3-pointers, as Potomac (9-5, 3-0) remained unfeated in the Mid Atlantic Conference.

T.K. Washington had a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Mike Russ added 16 points to lead St. James (6-6, 2-3).

Broadfording 80, Grace 37

Armondo Miller had a game-high 20 points, 10 rebounds and four steals as Broadfording defeated Grace Acedemy in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Devin Gourdine scored 15 points and Gabe Hirsch added eight points and eight rebounds for the Lions (9-7, 6-2).

Caleb Serafini had 14 points and Zack Morgan scored 11 points for Grace (0-14, 0-9).

Heritage 61, CVCS 42

Hamilton Stamper had 23 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks as Heritage Academy soared past Cumberland Valley Christian in an MDCC matchup.

Steven Barthalow had 22 points and six assists for the Eagles (10-2, 8-0).

Charles McBeth led CVCS (10-5, 5-3) with 14 points and Tyler Larson added 11.

Shalom 53, Calvary 23

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Caleb Hussack had 14 points and nine rebounds, leading Shalom Christian to an MDCC victory over Calvary Christian.

Ben Forsythe added nine points and 12 rebounds for Flames (10-4, 6-2).
