Frederick event slated for Tuesday



FREDERICK, Md. - The life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be explored Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School.

The program will feature student art, writing and musical performances based on the theme "From Vision to Action."

Admission is free.




Lecture at gallery



The Rev. Paul Berry of Full Life Ministry in Hagerstown will give a lecture celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Contemporary School of the Arts & Gallery at 4 W. Franklin St.

Children are encouraged to share their thoughts and views on the significance of the day during the event.
