Sharpsburg 4-H'ers have gifts, songs for seniors

January 08, 2008

Keeping with the tradition started by 4-H'ers of the Sharpsburg Club in years past, the Sharpsburg 4-H Club provided the senior citizens of the town of Sharpsburg with a gift of song during the holidays. In addition to the usual cookies, the 4-H'ers passed out The Red Bag, an initiative of Washington County Emergency Management. The bags provide a 72-hour emergency pack to senior citizens and those with disabilities.

Seth Marvil of the Sharpsburg 4-H Club coordinated the Christmas caroling and participation in the Red Bag Campaign.
