WILLIAMSPORT - Bill Neely, chaplain at Brooke Grove Retirement Village will present "Getting Along Better" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living of Williamsport Retirement Village, 154 N. Artizan St. Neely will encourage participants to enhance their observation of nonverbal messages. They also will learn key factors in generating change in themselves and how to encourage others to change. The seminar is free. Space is limited; for reservations, call 301-223-7971.




Tips for taking charge of health



Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church will offer the Coronary Health Improvement Project, a lifestyle program that teaches individuals how to take charge of their health. The four-week program will be presented via video by Dr. Hans Diehl, director of the Lifestyle Medicine Institute of Loma Linda, Calif., and will be held at the church from Monday, Feb. 4, through Thursday, Feb. 28.

Free information sessions will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, and Sunday, Jan. 27, at Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Drive, east of Hagerstown.
