Home-schooling education seminar



FREDERICK, Md. - A free "Considering Home-schooling?" seminar will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at C. Burr Artz Public Library, 110 E. Patrick St.

Parenting seminar



"Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" seminar will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, through Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Meadowbrook Community Room, 18714 North Village Shopping Center, Hagerstown. The program is free for parents living in Washington County.

The program will teach parents how to help their teens become responsible, accept the consequences of their decisions and be effectively guided toward adulthood.

Childbirth, parenting classes for teens



FREDERICK, Md. - Families Plus! will provide a free, four-week series of childbirth and parenting classes for pregnant teenagers and their partners. Playground program



SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Commission will offer Indoor Playground for ages 1 to 5. The program will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, today through March 28. The cost is $5 per child. $3 for each additional child per visit. Call 304-728-3207.




Tiny majorettes program
