Bluebird workshop

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Franklin County Master Gardeners will offer a free bluebird workshop. Participants will receive a free nest box kit for assembly if they join the Bluebird Society of Pennsylvania. Landscape painting

Appalachian Trail artist Lou Murray will teach weekly classes in landscape acrylic painting. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 5 through Feb. 23. Jan. 5 class is free; remaining classes $15 each. Modern standard Arabic

The course, "Elementary Arabic I" will also introduce some Egyptian dialect. The course includes instruction in grammar, writing Arabic script, and sentence structure.
