Hagerstown Christmas tree collection schedule

The Hagerstown Department of Public Works will begin collecting Christmas trees on the following dates:

· Jan. 7-8 - Northwest Quadrant: From the west side of North Potomac Street to the north side of West Washington Street (U.S. 40) and all areas in between.

· Jan. 9 - Northeast Quadrant: From the north side of East Washington Street (U.S. 40) to the east side of North Potomac Street and all areas in between.

· Jan. 10 - Southwest Quadrant: From the south side of West Washington Avenue (U.S. 40) to the east side of South Potomac Street and all areas in between.

· Jan. 11 - Southeast Quadrant: From the east side of South Potomac Street to the south side of East Washington Street (U.S. 40) and all areas in between.

All ornaments must be removed from the tree or it will not be collected. Residents may place their tree at the curb in front of their residence as early as 4 p.m. the day before their scheduled collection date, and no later than 7 a.m. on their scheduled collection date.

The Department of Public Works will be collecting Christmas trees only.
