Leukemia and lymphoma support

John R. Marsh Cancer Center, in partnership with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Maryland Chapter, sponsors a support group for patients and families affected by blood cancer. Open to those affected by leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, MDS, or myeloma. Meetings held at John R. Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups

Hagerstown and Frederick, Md., areas. This is an anonymous, confidential support group for anyone affected by the drinking of a family member or friend. Call 301-663-6626.

Memory loss discussion

A memory loss discussion group is forming. This time-limited group is for people in the earliest stages of dementia and their caregivers. Call the Alzheimer's Association, 301-797-4892, for dates and times.

Alzheimer's support

The Somerford Place-Memory Care Assisted Living group usually meets on the first Tuesday of every month. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
