Area Boy Scouts sell popcorn to help raise money

In the fall, the Boy Scouts sold popcorn for their respective units and the Mason-Dixon Council.

The money is used to develop activities for Scouts in the area. The Scouts receive prizes for their efforts.

The top sellers in the Mason-Dixon Council are:

· First place - Joseph Pasquarello, Troop 287, Greencastle, Pa.

· Second place - Cody Shrives, Pack 95, Greencastle

· Third place - Aaron Little, Pack 54, Hagerstown

· Fourth place - Devon Little, Troop 10, Hagerstown

· Fifth place - Antuane Bacbock, Pack 43, Mercersburg, Pa.

· Sixth place - Zackary and Micahel Shank, Troop 66, Hagerstown

· Seventh place - Ricky Harbaugh, Troop 2, Hagerstown


· Eighth place - Wayland Jenkins, Troop 95, Greencastle

· Ninth place - Daniel Frederick, Pack 66, Hagerstown

· Tenth place - Alex Tibbons, Troop 62, Chewsville

A new feature was added this year. Each week of the fundraiser, any Scout who completely filled out the order sheet was entered to win a gift card to Wal-Mart. The weekly winners were Daniel Clever, Ryan Clever, Aaron Little, Devon Little, Joseph Pasquarello, Dean Patterson and Billy Sensenbaugh. Dean Patterson was the winner of a laptop computer.

The Mason-Dixon Council serves youths in Washington, Franklin and Fulton counties.
