Leigh, Mosley named WCTHS students of the month

Seniors Heather Leigh and Isaiah Mosley, both seniors, have been named students of the month at Washington County Technical High School for January.

Leigh is a visual communications student who is taking several advanced-placement classes, including English literature and biology.

She is a Skills USA representative and a Maryland Distinguished Scholar.

She plans to attend Villa Julie College and major in in visual communications design.

Leigh recently was named The Herald-Mail's Washington County Student of the Month.

Mosley is taking the Computer Repair and Networking (CRAN) course of study. His classes include physics, robotics and English 12 composition. He also is a teachers' aide for CRAN.

He participates in indoor and outdoor track and field, and cross country.

A member of the SkillsUSA chapter, he recently was named NBC25's Student Athlete of the Month, a Wendy's High School Heisman state finalist and received an outstanding state athletic award.


Mosley plans to attend Keystone College, where he wants to work toward a career as a computer system analyst.
