Reward offered for information in Pa. robbery

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. ? Franklin County Crime Solvers is offering a possible reward for tips about a November armed robbery at Dollar General in Hamilton Township, according to a crime solvers press release.

On Nov. 14 about 8:15 p.m., a stocky man with a red bandanna over his nose entered the store at 944 Lincoln Way West and pointed a black handgun at an employee, according to the release. He demanded money and fled the store in a dark-colored mid-90s four-door vehicle, possibly a Honda, according to the release.

The man was described as being white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing between 240 and 260 pounds, with a prominent midsection, according to the release. He wore a dark, plain crew-neck sweatshirt and a dark beanie ski cap, according to the release.

Information leading to the arrest of those involved might result in a reward of up to $2,000, according to the release.
