Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are: Sunday, closed; Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.

Cats

Young DSH, brown and black dilute, found on Village Mill Road.

Young DSH, black, found on Mulberry Street.

Young DSH, gray and white, found in Boonsboro.

Adult DSH, black, found on Summit Avenue.

Adult DSH, gray and black tabby, found on Broadfording Road.

Adult DSH, black and orange torbie, found in Boonsboro.

Adult DSH, gray and black, found on Ridge Avenue.

Adult DSH, gray and black, found on Ridge Avenue.

Dogs

Adult rottweiler, black and brown, found on Jay Street.

Adult Australian cattle dog, blue, black and tan, found on Windy Haven Road in the Ringgold area.
