Wilson Partner Breakfast is Tuesday



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Friday is the last day to respond to attend the first Wilson College Community Partner Breakfast, which will focus on "The Collapse of the U.S. Residential Mortgage Market: What Went Wrong and What's Next?"

The breakfast will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sarah's Coffeehouse on the lower level of Lenfest Commons.

A panel of representatives from area businesses, and Wilson faculty members and administrators will discuss the causes of the mortgage crisis and the implications not only for the national economy but for the typical Franklin County business owner.

The Wilson College 2007-08 Community Partner of the Year also will be named.

Employees of Wilson College Community Partners may attend the breakfast for free. Admission for the general public is $10 per person. Tickets will be available at the door.

Epstein to speak at Greencastle-Antrim Chamber breakfast



GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast at the Antrim House Restaurant on Wednesday.

The event, which is sponsored by Summit Health, will feature guest speaker Norm Epstein, president and chief executive officer of Summit Health, who will discuss HealthGrades.

The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., and will include a buffet and door prizes. The cost is $12 for Chamber members and $15 for nonmembers.

Greencastle contest entry deadline is Friday



GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The deadline to enter the Heritage Christmas Home Decorating and Lighting Contest is noon Friday.

Judging for the contest will take place Saturday evening. The three categories are traditional (incorporating the use of white lights and natural elements), contemporary (incorporating the use of multicolored lights and a variety of seasonal decorations) and children's world (incorporating the use of decorations that specifically appeal to children, including animated, inflated and children's-themed decorations).

Two prizes will be awarded in each category.

There is no cost to participate, but an entry form must be completed. Entry forms are available at the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce and at all Greencastle-Antrim financial institutions.
