She is survived by her husband, Col. Harry B. Plowman, whom she married Sept. 18, 1942; three daughters, Lisabeth K. Rodgers of Blue Ridge Summit, Katherine S. Winkler of Rouzerville, Pa., and Valerie L. Walter of Emmittsburg, Md.; three sons, Jonathan K. Plowman of Perkasie, Pa., Christopher M. Plowman of Maumee, Ohio, and Alexander S. Plowman of Cascade, Md.; two foster daughters, Chris Allen of Chanute, Kan., and Joyce Craig of Rainsville, Ala.; three brothers, Donald G. Lambiotte of Florida, David J. Lambiotte of California and William A. Lambiotte of Ohio; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebekah A. Plowman; and one grandson.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Sigfrid Troche will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in San Francisco National Cemetery, San Bruno, Calif.
There will be no public viewing; however, the family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

John H. Kriner, 86

QUINCY, Pa. - Mr. John H. Kriner, 86, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, Quincy, Pa., and formerly of Eastern Avenue, Greencastle, Pa., died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at the nursing home. He had been ill for eight months and in critical health for the last two weeks.
Born Feb. 14, 1921, in Chewsville, Md., he was the son of the late George A. and Ida C. Hartle Kriner. He spent his early life in the Bushtown area of Greencastle and attended Greencastle schools.
He and his wife, the late Edna E. Bingaman Kriner, were married Nov. 2, 1940 in Hagerstown, Md., and lived at their present residence since 2005. They formerly lived at 660 Woodland Parkway, State Line, Pa. Mrs. Kriner died Sept. 13, 2006.
Mr. Kriner was a farmer for 43 years for Eden Plains Dairy, Hagerstown, and from 1963 until his retirement in 1984 he worked in the shipping department of Grove Manufacturing, Shady Grove, Pa.
He attended Calvary Assembly of God, Waynesboro, Pa. and enjoyed woodworking and lawn care.
Mr. Kriner is survived by two daughters, Joan E. Carty, Greencastle, and Ann S. Cunningham, Greencastle; a son, Donald E. Kriner, Laurel, Del.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the last of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Phenicie Hinkley and Cressa Kline; five brothers, Arthur Kriner, George Kriner, Alfred Kriner, Ross Kriner and Cyrus Kriner; and one infant brother, Samuel Kriner.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle with the Rev. Dwan Newsome and Pastor Walter Stuart officiating. Burial will follow in Beautiful View Cemetery, State Line.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Betty Jane Shoop, 59, of 507 W. Church St., Hagerstown, Md., passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at home.
Born Tuesday, May 11, 1948, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George W. Jones Sr. and Frances E. Davis Jones.
Betty enjoyed bingo.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Michael of Martinsburg, W.Va., Donna Spigler of Hagerstown and Tammy Mumma of Hagerstown; two sons, Kenneth Kitchen Jr. of Hagerstown and Terry Kitchen of Hagerstown; three sisters, Toots Porrell, Sis Palmer and Jenny Ayers; and two brothers, Sonny Jones and George Jones.
She was preceded in death by one sister, June Jones; and one brother, Buck Jones.
Services will be held Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD 21742, with the Rev. Richard Daughtridge officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
