CHARLES TOWN W.Va. ? Police responded Thursday night to a home invasion/robbery in the Washington Village apartments area.

The victim said two men forced their way into her home after knocking on the doors. The burglars forced the woman to the couch and taped her hands and eyes, police said in a news release.

They demanded money and took a safe from one of the bedrooms, police said. The safe was described as black or dark gray with a keypad on the front. No one was injured.

Police, including K-9 units, searched the area but couldn't find anything.
