Murdery mystery weekends

BOILING SPRINGS, W.Va. - "Most Likely to Succeed - Murder" by Jacqueline Heinze is the play for the weekend. Boiling Springs High School alumnae reunite to reminisce and celebrate their years together, as young, promising, ambitious students. But some come to the reunion with a vengeance, and when scores are settled, more than one of these graduates will wind up dead. Participate in an entire weekend of wine, dining, dancing, music, mystery and murder. Solve the crime, have Sunday brunch, and return home safe and sound. Christmas tradition

"A Christmas Carol" is on stage at the Washington County Playhouse and Dinner Theatre, 44 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The show runs through Saturday, Dec. 29. On Fridays and Saturdays, dinner is at 6 p.m. and the show is at 7:30. Sunday matinees on Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23 begin with a 1 p.m. meal followed by the show at 2:30.
