Antlerless deer licenses sold out in Franklin, Fulton counties

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - All 74,000 antlerless deer licenses available in the "wildlife management units" encompassing Franklin and Fulton counties were sold by 10:45 a.m. Monday, the first day of firearms deer season in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission reported that only 25,618 of the state's 865,000 doe licenses remained available Monday morning.

Hunters are permitted one antlerless deer per license.

The season continues through Saturday, Dec. 8, although hunting is prohibited on Sunday, Dec. 2.
