Man charged with DUI, other counts



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. ? A Roxbury, Pa., man was charged Thursday night with driving under the influence and several other counts after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a parked car, according to a Pennsylvania State Police press release.

Christopher Farley, age and address unknown, was charged with driving under the influence, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license, police said.

Farley was northbound on Sandy Mountain Road in Letterkenny Township, Pa., when he allegedly lost control of his car, which went off the road and struck a parked car, police said.

Farley's car flipped over after striking the other vehicle, which was parked in a driveway, police said.

Farley was taken to Franklin County Jail and held on $5,000 bail, police said.




Sheriff's Department responds to incidents



The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following incidents, Sgt. Roy Harsh said.

Thursday

· At 8:23 a.m., theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 17600 block of Meadowood Drive. A vehicle was broken into, causing $200 in damage to a window.

· At 10:15 a.m., theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 10800 block of Gaywood Drive. A vehicle was broken into overnight, causing $1,000 in damage to a vehicle.

· At 11:49 a.m., vehicle theft was reported in the 7000 block of McClellan Avenue. A trailer valued at $1,000 was stolen.

· At 6:53 p.m., theft was reported. Someone was stealing money out of mailboxes.

· At 9:59 p.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 14900 block of Falling Waters Road. A home was shot with paintballs.

Friday

· At 5:02 a.m., theft of a cell phone was reported at the Liz Claiborne Outlet at Prime Outlets at Hagerstown.

· At 5:43 a.m., theft was reported at the Lane Bryant Outlet at Prime Outlets at Hagerstown. Four credit cards were stolen from a purse.
