Black Friday Rush game rules

November 22, 2007

It's Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, and you must get gifts at four major shopping centers in the Tri-State area. You will need a die to play.

You must hit all three malls and the outlet shopping center and cross the finish line to win. Keep going around the board as many times as it takes until you land on all four shopping centers. When you land on a shopping center's square, circle the corresponding number on the score card to the right.

To determine the order of play, each player rolls the die; the player who rolls the highest number goes first.

Take turns clockwise based on seated positions.

When it's your turn, roll the die to determine how far you advance on your journey. During your travels, you will encounter obstacles that will set you back, leave you sitting until your next turn, or cause you to skip a turn. You also will land on advantageous spaces that will move you ahead.

If you roll the die and land on a square that does not tell you to move forward or backward, then stay put and pass the die to the next player. If you lose a turn, that means your current turn is over and you are skipped during the next round.

The first person to land on all four shopping centers and then cross the finish line is the winner.
