The Washington County Rural Heritage Museum announces the winners for the Amateur Photography Show, held this month.
The photography contest accepted amateur photographs from the following themes: "Fall and Farming," "Autumn and Agriculture" or "Capture an image at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center." A total of 110 entries were submitted.
The winners of each category were Best in Show, Brian Poffenberger; Rural Heritage Choice, Barbara Motter.
Adult Division: first, Barbara Motter; second, Meredith Poffenberger; third, Meredith Poffenberger; Honorable Mention, Karen Lowry.
Senior Division: first, Mary Poffenberger; second, Mary Poffenberger; third, Gloria Houser; Honorable Mention, Mary Poffenberger.
High School Division: first, Brian Poffenberger; second, Brian Poffenberger.
Elementary Division: first, Tristen Lewis, Clear Spring; first, Amy Smith, Bester; second, Kyle Hose, Bester; second Cody Scott, Bester; third, Chris Horchner, Bester; third, Bryce Shirley, Bester; Honorable Mention, Karissa Butts, Bester; Honorable Mention, Kailyn Hostler, Bester.
