Krause re-elected to Teamsters office

Tom Krause has been re-elected to his third term as secretary-treasurer and principal officer of Teamsters Local 992, according to a press release.

Krause said Friday that he had two challengers in the election.

He said the other six members of his slate also were elected:

- Bob Fahnestock, president

- Barry Martin, vice president

- Donna Whittaker, recording secretary

- Doug Meals, Jeff Sechrist and Jacob Isett, trustees

They will take office Jan. 1, 2008.

Teamsters Local 992 represents about 1,150 UPS, freight, mining, manufacturing, construction and public sector employees in the Tri-State area, according to the release.
