Farm toy show

The Western Maryland Farm Toy Show is sponsored by Tri-State Farm Toy Collectors Club. The show will feature farm toys, trucks and farm memorabilia. Vendors will have toys for sale. There also will be displays by various collectors. There will be a kiddie pedal today at noon. Today, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Washington County Agricultural Education Center, Md. 65, Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. $2; $1.50, seniors; free for ages 10 and younger. Craft and gift show

The Kris Kringle Holiday Craft and Gift Show features more than 100 vendors. Today and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Clarion Hotel and Conference Center Antietam Creek, Dual Highway, Hagerstown. Free admission. Bring donations of nonperishable food items for Christmas baskets for local needy families and/or a new toy for underprivileged children. The items will be donated to Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown for distribution.


Art show and sale

The Hagerstown Community College Foundation will host a reception, show and sale of paintings by R. Benjamin Jones. Today, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hagerstown Community College's Kepler Theater, Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown. Free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the HCC Foundation.

Trains of Christmas

O-gauge layout featuring trains operating in a snow scene. Also trains for children to operate, HO- and O-scale model railroads, artifacts and photos. Chambersburg parade

Chambersburg hosts its annual holiday parade. Santa will arrive at parade's end to light the Christmas tree on Memorial Square. Today, 6:30 p.m. Downtown Chambersburg, Pa.

MasterWorks II

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra will present MasterWorks II, featuring "Water Music" by George Frideric Handel, Sergei Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 in F major.
