MONT ALTO, Pa. - A 27-year-old woman died of injuries suffered when the car she was driving hit a borough house Sunday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Stacey M. Reed, of Waynesboro, Pa., was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon that crossed the road and a yard before hitting 313 S. Main St. at 7:05 a.m., police said in a news release.
Reed, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at 10:25 a.m. at York (Pa.) Hospital, police said.
The vehicle, which had been traveling south on Pa. 997, spun before the driver's side hit the corner of the house, police said.
Mont Alto Fire Department assisted at the scene.
