The Atlantic Coast Championships for Tournament of Bands took place this past weekend at its new home in Dover, Del., hosted by Delaware State University.

Four Washington County high school marching bands earned competitive spots at ACCs by finishing in the Top 25 for their group in the Atlantic Coast.

The region includes Delaware, Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

The bands are divided into four groups based on the number of members in their band and color guard. The smaller bands have a smaller number, while the larger bands have a larger number.

South Hagerstown High performed in Group 3 on Saturday. North Hagerstown High's performance was Sunday afternoon for Group 2, while Boonsboro and Williamsport gave their shows Sunday evening for Group 4.
