CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Guy Thomas McCauliff, 75, of Charles Town, and formerly of the Hartford, Conn., area, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at his home from complications of diabetes.
He was a 1954 graduate of Grinnell College.
He retired in 1997 from Modern School, a subsidiary of Alvin and Co.
He is survived by his companion, Robert Wegner of Charles Town; and one sister, Sue Culbertson of Webster City, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Charles Patrick McJilton, 83, of Martinsburg, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at City Hospital.
Born May 5, 1924, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Patrick and Rose Shriver McJilton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Silver McJilton.
He retired from Handy and Harmon.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Mason of Morgan County, W.Va., Rebecca Unger of Kearneysville, W.Va., and Regina Higgins of Sharpsburg; one son, Charles E. McJilton of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; three sisters; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Christopher L. McJilton; two sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Mark Unger and Pastor Jack Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.

BOLIVAR, W.Va. - Benjamin Raymond Matthew Napper, 55, of Bolivar, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at his home.
Born Sept. 20, 1952, in Ranson, W.Va., he was the son of the late Henry Ammon Napper and Marie Green Napper.
He was in the landscaping business.
He was a member of First Zion Baptist Church in Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
He is survived by one daughter, Kisha Dennis-Ross of Bowie, Md.; one son, Matthew Remington of Bolivar; one sister, Lucy Napper of Cleveland; one brother, Joseph Napper of Harpers Ferry; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Lewis Napper, Thomas Napper, Robert Napper, Francis Napper, Ammon Napper, Jesse Napper and Donald Napper.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer and Norton Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry. Pastor Ed Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Harpers Ferry.

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Winifred Ruth Hiles, 67, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at her home.
Born Feb. 29, 1940, in Great Cacapon, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Scott and Ruth Porter Holliday.
She attended public schools in Great Cacapon.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Word of Deliverance Church in Berkeley Springs.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Thomas Hiles Sr.; one daughter, Angela E. Hiles at home; two sons, John T. Hiles Jr. and Michael L. Hiles, both at home; four sisters, Jean Spring and Pat Barker, both of Great Cacapon, Peggy Kelley of Berkeley Springs, and Betty See of Strasburg, Va.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Holliday, Butch Holliday and Archie Holliday.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Word of Deliverance Church, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Lisa Unger will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.
