Allison-Antrim Museum to host annual holiday dinner

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The Allison-Antrim Museum will hold its annual holiday dinner meeting on Nov. 20 at Gibble's Restaurant, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The guest speaker for the meeting will be historian Patrick Falci. Falci has portrayed Gen. A.P. Hill in the movie "Gettysburg" and has served as historical advisor, coordinator, and researcher in the movies "Gettysburg," "Gods and Generals," "Rough Riders" and four documentaries.

Falci also served as historical advisor and researcher for several Civil War books and he also lectures frequently on Civil War topics.

During the dinner, Falci will share stories about the life of A.P. Hill, his time at West Point and his friends, his childhood, marriage, and conflicts with Stonewall Jackson and James Longstreet.

Reservations and payment in advance for the banquet dinner at $18.25 (includes tax and gratuity) per person are requested by Friday, Nov. 16 by calling Bonnie A. Shockey at 717-597-9325. The public is welcome.

The banquet meal includes tossed salad, roast turkey, roast beef, baked ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, sugar snap peas, corn fritters, rolls, vanilla ice cream and choice of drink.
