Book Review

Danica McKellar's book "Math Doesn't Suck" teaches basic middle school math. The text of the book is like reading a teen magazine. It has quizzes and horoscopes.

McKellar gives step-by-step instruction on working with problems. She uses techniques such as the Great Crush Factor and the Birthday Cake Method to make math more fun. McKellar also includes story about her childhood and stories of other women and girls who struggled with math.

I actually liked the book. I think its a great way to make math more fun and exciting. It's a easy read with only 280 pages. It's the perfect study guide for anyone who needs help in math.

I recommend this book to girls who are struggling in math. Out of a possible 10, I give this book a 9.

Even if you're not struggling, I still think you should read this book. Not only does it teach math but it also teaches other important lessons.
