'Just for You'

November 06, 2007|By E.L. SYVERSON / Pulse Correspondent

I always knew I would write one like this.

Something dramatic and a little bitter on my tongue.

You and her, so blissfully unawarethat I'm begging you to end thisfor the sake of my sanity.

It was bound to happen.

One day, while my back was turned.

What a low blow it seemed to be.

Heart-wrenching, gut-churning thoughts.

But you are complete - you and her.

So blissfully unaware that you both left me half a being - incomplete.

Such a strange emotion, though not unfamiliar.

I just hoped it wouldn't be for you.
