Leukemia and lymphoma support

John R. Marsh Cancer Center, in partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, sponsors a support group for patients and families affected by blood cancer. Open to those affected by leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, MDS or myeloma. Meetings are at the John R. Seizure and epilepsy support

Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups

Hagerstown and Frederick, Md., areas. This is an anonymous, confidential support group for anyone affected by the drinking of a family member or friend. Call 301-663-6626.

Healing Hearts

Begins today. This is a 6-week support/educational group with optional ongoing monthly support for adults coping with death. Registration is required by calling the Grief and Bereavement Services Department, 301-791-6360. The program is offered through Hospice of Washington County.
