Fire board needs District Three member

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - The Morgan County Fire Board has an immediate opening for a citizen member from Magisterial District Three, Commission President Glen R. Stotler said at Friday's Morgan County Commission meeting.

District Three includes Pleasant View, Spruce Pine Hollow, Duckwall, Johnson's Mill, New Hope, Sleepy Creek and Ridersville.

The nonpaying volunteer citizen will be part of an eight-member board that meets quarterly.

Due to an administrative error, District Two was listed as the district in need of a citizen member. However, the Fire Board will have an opening in District Two in May, since the outgoing member's term will expire in April, Stotler said.

The Morgan County Commission approves all board appointments.

Application forms can be obtained at the Morgan County Commission office at 35 N. Mercer St.
