The owner of South Pointe development has twice changed his mind about how he will finish the East Oak Ridge Drive project.
Paul Crampton is scheduled to ask the planning commission Monday to approve plans for 120 condominiums on the northeast corner of the property.
The condominiums would replace plans for a senior housing facility that were approved in 2003.
The northeast corner is the only unbuilt section of the 122-acre property, which includes a strip mall, town houses and single-family homes.
When the development was first proposed in the early 1990s, apartments were planned for the corner.
