Duplicate bridge club posts results

Eleven teams of four competed Friday, Oct. 26, during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club in the annual Club Appreciation Swiss Team game. Scott and Debbie Kiser, playing with Frank and Anne Carden, came in first in both the A and B strata with a score of 58. Second in Flights A and B with 48 points was the team of Bob Osburn, Ann Lebherz, Bob Munger and Willa Garner. Tied for third place in Flight A with 46 points were the teams of a) Bill and Madeline Davis, Rob Back, and Al Shochet, and b) Rick Elbo, Jean Toth, and Dick and Lois Taylor. Barbara Beard, Barbara Burkhardt, Alan Brown and Pat Newbold finished first in Flight C with 36 points.

In the annual masterpoint race as of the end of October, Bill and Madeline Davis are tied for first place with 29.40 points. Dick and Lois Taylor are tied for third place with 27.94 points, and Elaine Rowe is in fifth place with 24.73. Frank Carden in sixth with 24.64, and Anne Carden is seventh with 21.75 points. Rick Elbo and Jean Toth are tied for eighth place with 20.43, and Ann Lebherz in tenth with 19.87.
