Women's center open house

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women's Center will hold an open house from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Summit Health Center, Suite 103, 757 Norland Ave.

The open house will offer free bone density and blood pressure screenings, information on new technology, 3D and 4D ultrasound, digital mammography, mammo pads, tours of the center and a chance to meet the radiologist. Call 717-267-7136.

'Memory Loss and the Caregiver' series

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - "Memory Loss and the Caregiver," a four-part series for caregivers, begins today at Menno Haven Penn Hall Chapel. Sessions are from 4 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Nov. 19.

· Today: Aging - a Season of Life

· Nov. 5: Health-care Transitions and Physical Changes

· Nov. 12: Memory Loss

· Nov. 19: Losses in Later Life and Managing Grief

Diabetes awareness fair

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A diabetes awareness day is from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wedneday, Nov. 14, at the Menno Village Chapel. There will be door prizes, brochures and non-medical samples. The event is open to the public. Call Helen Skiba-Powell, 717-709-0314.
