Christmas farm toy and craft show

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Nova Area Ruritan Club's Christmas farm toy and craft show. The show will include cars, trucks, farm, construction, banks and more. Tractor pedal pull for children 1 p.m. Show 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rescue Hose Co. Special Events Center, 407 S. Washington St. Admission $1, free for ages younger than 12. Trail work trip

FREDERICK, Md. - Potomac Appalachian Trail Club-West Chapter will conduct maintenance and complete placement of erosion control structures on the Yellow Poplar and Green Ash trails just above and below the trail head parking area. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Nature Center near the entrance to the High Knob day use area at Gambrill State Park, off U.S. 40 west of Frederick. 'West Virginia' comedy
